Awesome, this art style looks fresh...the drop shadow makes it look 3Dish. It has potential, can't wait :)

P.S- Congrats on your job, man! Glad to see that Newgrounders are doing awesome in life.

Thanks mate!

Congrats, you've finally hit the mainstream ;) Helluva gamble traveling halfway across the globe for new opportunities. Did you have a sponsor in Canada, or were your academic credentials enough? Do you have any friends locally? Feeling isolated and/or lonely? Best wishes getting AE down pat!

Thanks man ha ha. Never thought I would be a visual effects artist.

The studio I am working at is going to look at sponsoring me which is awesome. I don't have any academic credentials, I started working in advertising at 18 so I never went beyond High School ha ha. Got a few friends here, one is from here on Newgrounds, KingDavid, I will be working at the same studio that he does. Things are generally feeling pretty damn good.

Good :) hate seeing people struggle on here.

Yeah, it can get depressing at times.

So you're there on a work visa, regular visa, tourism/passport... illegal immigrant? Canada doesn't accept just anyone, it would seem... I heard Australia's just as difficult, though I'm tempted to try, as I know a few ppl there that would attest/sponsor me, but would it be enough without a solid job on record? Just asking, in case other people here are considering moving out of country.

I am here on a working holiday visa. Australia is really hard to get into, much harder then Canada and with its current government its only getting worse. I am not sure how the sponsorship system in Australia works to be honest, but if its anything like the rest of the immigration system then it probably doesn't work at all.

Thanks for the info and the perspective! Yeah, you'd think if I wasn't from mainland China, and spoke English fluently, it'd be no problem, right? I hear a lot of young Chinese become students in Australia, and, just stay O_O

Its probably easier to get in as a student then to just move here. Im not sure why, thats just how it seemed while I was living in Melbourne. Its worth looking into.

I remember you.

Were you also Jerkoffman?

It was such a long time ago.

I was not Jerkoffman, but I was friends with him. No idea what happened to him. :c
