There is a slight difference between Hollywood and Newgrounds.
Heck, I wouldn't be so interested in making flashes if I would be paid to do so.
It's more fun to do flashes when you don't have to worry about the profit you would get in the end.
That's in side note the reason why I wouldn't accept donations, I'll let the people use their money to something more important.

I just noticed that 7 of the front page flashes are parodys. The legend lives on.
You know all these flash parody creators on this site should all get together and make a big movie together, I can see the meetings now.
"Oh what should we put in the next scene?."
"I KNOW! Let's add lots of swearing! That won't be redundant and annoying at all!"
"That sir is a brilliant idea, here's another idea.....we add...a.....FARTJOKE. Oh and urine is a funny word, let's add urine to our movie".
"Holy shit this video is cumming originality all over our backs, better go animate it slightly well so we can release it and get our undeserved awards".

People just got DISSED! I very much so understand your view, no offense to Egoraptor, but he's spawned way too many spinoffs (look at the front page at any given time). Fortunately, some people are making animations worthy of spoofing instead of being on the other side of the scale, such as the infamous Castle series (it's orgasmic animation, really), Metropolis Circuit, Mastermind, :the Composer:, I could go on and on listing all the awesome, non-spoof animations out there (of course, I could go even farther with the spoofs, but not many awesome spoofs, not like Egoraptor awesome, just the context of awesome as great).

Nice drawing, I wanna see how that looks animated! The character looks like some one from Bashki's "Coonskin", now that guy knows how to really design good characters!
